Some people think that North America and South America are the same because they both have America in their names, but they are two totally different places. I have been to both! Here are three reasons why South America is so different from North America.
1. The language
In North America they speak English and a little less of Spanish but in South America they speak a lot of Spanish and a little English. I learned a lot of Spanish in Argentina and Chile. Now I know so much Spanish that I can order my family food in all Spanish!
2. Food
The food in South America is amazing! It has the best steak, empanadas, chipas and ice cream in all of the America! You can see all the yummy foods of South America in my other posts. And trust me, when you take a bite you will think "Maybe I should move to South America because there are so many good things about it. The food is so stinking good and the prices are so low." Which brings us to our next topic!
3. Prices
The prices in South America are very low especially in Argentina. For example, I bought a pair of earrings for $400 Argentine pesos, which is $0.75USD. And a 30 minute taxi across town in Buenos Aires was $2-3 USD while a 20 minute taxi ride in Anchorage, Alaska (where I am now) is $19.90 USD. That is expensive!
I hoped you liked my presentation about South America and North America!
